Kapag Walang Hadlang sa Gawa ng Laman
By Ptr. Jospeh Pelejo
Text: Galatians 5:19-21
Message: A life of sin that remains unopposed, even if hidden behind legalism, has no place in the kingdom of God.
Question: How is this life of sin described?
1. Legalism cannot hide it
Note: “Now the works of the flesh are evident” (v.19) = can be plainly seen, known, observed
Point: Legalism cannot hide the evident stink of an unregenerate, unsaved and Spirit-less living.
Challenge: Do not hide your sins behind the mask of legalistic passions, rather expose it in the throne of grace in repentance.
2. Heaven cannot allow it
Note: “I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (5:21) = There is a double and repeated warning
Point: There is no place in heaven for people who have unopposed life of sin.
Challenge: Praise God for giving you the Holy Spirit that opposes the works of the flesh in your own life!
